Lead Director

Ken Bramlett is our Lead Director and also currently serves on the Audit Committee. He spent fourteen years in private law practice in Charlotte and fourteen years in the IT consulting and staffing services businesses, where he served on management teams that sold two public companies (Venturi Partners, Inc. in 2004 and COMSYS IT Partners, Inc. in 2010). Since 1994, he has also served on the Board of Directors of World Acceptance Corporation, a consumer loan company based in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Bramlett is presently a private investor.

In 1994, Ian joined Wilson International and entered the world of promotional products, driving the business in a new direction, while taking on responsibilities for finance, marketing, operations and sales. In 2008 Ian founded Integrus Brand Solutions, a promotional marketing firm based in Vancouver, and within a year had grown it to one of the top 5% of distributors in Canada. In 2009, Integrus merged with several other leading distributors in Canada to form BrandAlliance. Ian has his Executive MBA and is a proud recipient of the Alfred Brand Award, in recognition of his leadership in change management.

Janie Gaunce is the majority owner of the WBENC-certified Grapevine Designs. Prior to her position with Grapevine Designs, she was VP Sales for the Kansas City office of Fiddlehead, Inc. After a 13 year career in radio sales management, Ms. Gaunce served as Executive Director for the KC Radio Broadcasters Association. She later served on the PPAI Board of Directors and is currently involved with PPAMidwest. She helped create the “100 Jobs for 100 Moms” program with Amethyst Place and also serves on the University of Kansas Hospital Advancement Board.

Ian Mclearon is in charge of identifying North American and global account needs, coverage, and resources, and, once identified, developing merchandising and marketing plans for those companies. He has eighteen years of experience in the promotional products industry and is one of the founders and key shareholders of BrandAlliance. Mr. Mclearon has achieved his CAS (Certified Advertising Specialist) demonstrating his commitment to professional development in our industry.

Steve has over 26 years of industry experience having held sales leadership roles for three leading industry companies. He has successfully managed the launch and development of over 25 Fortune 500 company promotional programs. These include the launch of global programs supporting brand introductions and the development of global distribution solutions along with sourcing programs addressing cost savings initiatives and performance metrics. He also has extensive importing experience developing key global manufacturer partnerships.

R. Alfred Brand is a co-founder of A Brand Company’s former flagship, Activate! Promotions + Marketing, and served as the company’s Chairman prior to the A Brand Company merger with BrandAlliance in June of 2015. Before founding Activate!, Mr. Brand was President of Brands Limited and Executive Vice President of the Dalton - Brand Foundation — organizations in which he remains active today. He also worked for Pharr Yarns, Inc. for thirty years, retiring in 1995 as Vice President of Hosiery Sales. Mr. Brand is currently a private investor.

Susan Allen recently served as an Assurance Partner with PwC and has more than 34 years of experience working with clients and member firms of PwC in Canada, Europe and Asia. She has extensive experience in consumer and industrial products (distribution, retail, manufacturing, consumer products, services, and mining) and technology (networking, communications, software, and bio-tech/life sciences). She has advised and audited publicly listed TSX, SEC, NYSE, and NASDAQ companies, along with owner-managed and venture-backed companies. She serves as chair of the Audit Committee for A Brand Company.

Michael P. Beauchamp is currently President of Beauvestco Incorporated, an international development and consulting firm. Through his career, he has amassed over thirty years of experience in global markets. In Europe, with Frost & Sullivan, he developed and facilitated programs on competitive intelligence and benchmarking, professional selling and competitive pricing, and conducted more than 200 development programs for corporations in North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. He is a member of the Executive Advisory Panel for Sales and Marketing magazine and is a contributing expert to Personal Selling Power magazine. Mr. Beauchamp currently chairs A Brand Company’s Compensation Committee.
